Description
Range Rover 5.0 L322 2012 performance upgrade pulley V8. This pulley gives the supercharger a driven speed increase of 7.5%, the maximum amount possible without modifying the supercharger snout. Supercharger pulleys are the most proven and best £/Bhp performance enhancement available for supercharged engines.
The pulley is CNC machined from high grade stainless steel and is produced to the highest standards of surface finish and dimensional tolerances of any pulley on the market.
Boost & Power Increase:
This pulley increases the supercharger speed by 7.5% and therefore gives a boost equating to about 1.5psi increase, giving typically around 25hp across the mid-range and top end.
Changing the pulley ratio increases supercharger rpm and produces more boost. The ECU will see the increased airflow and will compensate fuelling accordingly. This will increase power across the rpm with impressive mid-range.
Remapping is not essential, although engines will benefit from a remap to unleash the full potential of the new pulley. This allows peak boost and power to be increased and gains of 50hp or more. (If you’d like more power then see our 650hp Range Rover Performance Tuning Upgrades page).
Installation of the Range Rover 5.0 2012 pulley:
Some basic workshop tools are required to gain access to the supercharger pulley. Removal can be completed with mild heat and a ribbed pulley puller, or with some grinding of the old pulley it can be removed using a universal type of puller. Installing can be done by heating up the new pulley and sliding onto the shaft.
