Overview

Powerhouse designs and manufactures Jaguar supercharger crank pulley upgrades for 3.0 V6 and 5.0 V8 supercharged petrol engines.
Each pulley is CNC-machined from billet aluminium, dynamically balanced, and supplied as a direct-fit replacement for the OEM lower crank pulley assembly.

The 15 % overdrive ratio increases the speed of the Eaton TVS supercharger, giving faster boost response, higher mid-range torque and sharper throttle pickup — all while retaining everyday drivability and refinement.

Performance & Tuning

This upgrade raises supercharger speed by approximately 15 %, resulting in:

  • Gains of +90–110 bhp on 5.0 V8 AJ133 engines (Eaton TVS R1900)

  • Gains of +80–100 bhp on 3.0 V6 AJ126 engines (Eaton TVS R1320)

  • Torque increases of up to +200 Nm, depending on tune and supporting modifications

An ECU remapping is required to optimise fuelling and ignition timing once the pulley is fitted. Powerhouse can supply compatible handheld tuning modules and calibrated software.

At partial throttle, the supercharger clutch disengages — meaning normal fuel economy and comfort are unaffected. When driven hard, the car feels noticeably more responsive and linear through the rev range.

Installation
